Aysia Stockton is originally from Richmond, Va. She graduated undergrad from Clark Atlanta University where she received a degree in Criminal Justice. She then went on to clerk in the General District Court of Richmond for two years before entering law school.

Aysia was accepted at the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, VA. She received her Master’s degree in 2018 and graduated with her J.D. in 2020. Shortly after, Aysia passed the Washington D.C. bar and was admitted to the Maryland bar.
After being admitted in Maryland, she began practicing family law for a boutique firm. She then moved on to practicing child welfare law, where she represented children in the foster care system for two and a half years. Aysia has since returned to her passion for family law to assist local families.
